Product details:

This harvest of Mount Elgon Natural offers wonderful mango notes, paired with a hint of grape and a lovely full-bodied character.

The cherries for this classic Mount Elgon come from the gardens of about 150 farmers. The altitude is approximately 2300m above sea level.

The cherries are fermented for up to 36 hours and then sun-dried and sorted on African Beds.

The name of the coffee comes from its processing method.

How is Mount Elgon Natural processed?

The type of coffee bean processing describes how the cherries are treated after harvest, which greatly influences the taste.

Natural - Dry Processing:

The coffee cherries dry completely with the pulp and skin, which transfer their aromas to the bean. The result is an intense, fruity and sweet taste. This method is environmentally friendly as it requires very little water.

Our coffees are available in different quantities as whole beans or ground. You can choose between various grind levels – depending on which coffee machine you use to prepare your coffee.
